*Diagrams and models

01. Diagram of folded figures. Top to bottom: figure, fold, form

The sectional variation within the folded figures allows for people to see and be seen, catching glimpses of other routes as you travel through space. The rotunda of the building acts as the main circulation fragment to connect a multiplicity of routes. Spiraling from the center, paths traverse through multiple conditions: sometimes splitting floors, sometimes intersecting other paths, and sometimes bifurcating. As one walks through the building, one experiences the effect of being pulled back and forth from the periphery to the center and back again.

02. Foam core and PETG fragment model showing topless rotunda
03. 3D printed massing model

04. Foam core and PETG fragment model showing subterranean spiral
